Mich. State this week. This is from the local newspaper.
As you may have already heard, coach Bo Pelini tried to hand out the Blackshirts last week after the win against Northwestern.
But, in a decision that truly defines the character of the team, the players refused them, saying that they have a much larger test ahead in Michigan. If they fared well after that contest, then they would accept the tradition-rich jerseys.
I think that’s very commendable, and, after the win over the Wolverines, the Blackshirts were waiting in the lockers.
Let’s hope the Blackshirts will serve as even more motivation throughout the rest of the season, instead of having the players feel like they’ve peaked.

Taylor Martinez is 114 yards away from breaking Nebraska’s career total offense record (Held by Eric Crouch with 7,915). And he’s got another year to pile on the numbers.

If Neb. can contain Mich. St. RB (almost 250 carries already this year) they should cover the 2.5 today. Taking Huskers as double play today.
Squeaked out a winner here! ;D

Huskers open at -8 over Penn State and already bet down to -7 on Monday. Weather should be great in Lincoln on Saturday - about 60 degrees at kickoff. Should be a very loud crowd.

Copied this. Penn State at Nebraska
Penn State at Nebraska - Nebraska handed PSU a 17-14 defeat in a game played just days after Joe Paterno's firing last year in State College. This year they meet in Lincoln and The Cornhusker's need another victory to maintain their lead in the Losers Legends Division after a big comeback win last week against Sparty. Nebraska is the highest ranked Big 10 team in the BCS at #16, and was the only one prior to Northwestern creeping in Sunday night. Why does that matter you ask; because The champion of Conference USA, the Mid-American Conference, the Mountain West Conference, the Sun Belt Conference, or the Western Athletic Conference will earn an automatic berth in a BCS bowl game if such team is ranked in the top 16 of the final BCS Standings and its ranking in the final BCS Standings is higher than that of a champion of a conference that has an annual automatic berth in one of the BCS bowls. Ladies and gentleman…I present the 2012 Big 10.

Penn St. FG kicker SUCKS!! They will go for it on fourth down more than once today when inside Husker territority. 8.5 seem a little high but I think Neb. wears them down and the Husker depth brings it in the 4th quarter again. Huskers -8.5 today. Expect the Husker receivers to have a HUGE day also. (But i will be holding my breath every time Martinez drops back to throw!) Hoping he is wearing steel covered cleats so when he shoots himself in the foot it just bounces off. LOL

copied from another site Minnesota Golden Gophers at Nebraska Cornhuskers
Gophers bounced back from their 35-13 rout at the hands of Michigan by rolling over Illinois 17-3 as a 2.5 point road favorite this past Saturday moving the mark to 6-4 (5-5 ATS) on the campaign. Gophers now bowl eligible after recording their 6th victory of the season which is as many they have recorded the past two seasons combined aren't about to upend Cornhuskers. But getting both WR's AJ Barker, Derrick Engel back after sitting out last week should go a long way at keeping the contest within the expected 18.5 point spot. Gophers spanked 41-14 last season by Cornhuskers have added incentive to give it their all. Take the points, the Gophers have been money in the bank at this time of the year posting a 10-1 ATS mark their last 11 November games while Cornhuskers head into the tilt on a 3-7-2 ATS skid in November, 2-5-1 ATS slump vs a team with a winning record.

Has computer problems this week - not much info for Iowa game. Hoping Huskers are not looking ahead to big 10 champ. game! Giving up 16 this week to Iowa (who always play better at home) that will not be going bowling this year. Last game for them at home to show some love for the coach and fans. Iowa fans really buying into the new "Rivialry" game with Nebraska. Nebraska - not so much. Haven't seen any info on Burkhead either but guessing he will NOT play again today. Probably will see alot of him next week against Whisky. Taking Nebraska today -16 for a small amount only. Did you guys see the second string Huskers awful performance at the end of last weeks game!! UGHHH!!! Very Ugly!!
